Food for Thought Catering was born out of a longtime passion for great-tasting food. Owners, Keith Jones and Jennifer Bordeaux, both began their culinary journeys as children, finding a love for food and cooking at a young age. As they grew older, they discovered that cooking came very natural to them; so naturally, they gravitated toward the food and hospitality industries.
Jennifer pursued the food industry seeking to expand her culinary boundaries and learn more ways to please people through food. Over a course of nearly 3 decades, Keith traveled the country and lived in 13 states, giving him the opportunity to absorb a cultural array of culinary practices, cuisines, and ingredients.
Throughout their time working in the food service industries, they gained a unique and special knowledge of regional and international culinary arts by running various types of restaurants, from barbecue joints and creole cafes, to Italian bistros, fine dining, steakhouses, Mexican eateries, and more.
Their experience in both food service and management gave them the resources they needed to take their passion to the next level. Keith Jones and Jennifer Bordeaux wanted to share their diverse culinary experiences and expertise with their community. So in 2011, Food for Thought Catering was born.
Today, we aspire to craft one of a kind, unique catering experiences using our diverse regional and international expertise. But it’s our love of cooking and passion for pleasing that drives us to continually hone our culinary skills and test the culinary boundaries.
